Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist will operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographs of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the ER Physician in accordance with the Radiologist accepted protocol. The technologist will also be proficient in the positioning of the patient and examining table to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician. Technologist will also practice radiation safety techniques with the ALARA principle in mind, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills, and knowledge of applicable exposure factors, to maximize radiation protection to patient and staff.

Each technologist will operate CT SCAN equipment to produce Computed Tomography (CT scans) of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the ER Physician in accordance with the Radiologist protocol. Technologist will be responsible for administering and consenting for contrast both IV and oral, while being aware of all possible reactions and side effects. The Technologist will also be responsible for filling out appropriate paperwork and ensuring proper documentation in patients' chart. Our Primary goal is to ensure patient safety and satisfaction, while acquiring an acceptable exam of diagnostic quality.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains awareness of all departmental and operational policies of NEC.
• Assists in the maintenance of all equipment in the department, including cleaning and QA procedures
• Explains to Patients the benefits and risks of Procedures and Exams
• Prepares Patient as necessary for examination, i.e.: contrast, proper IV placements, checking labs.
• Facilitates departmental operations through completion of all appropriate Contrast, Extravasations, Pregnancy, and other forms related to preformed exam.
• Maintains safety precautions to minimize radiation exposure to patients, other personnel, and self.
• Maintains current knowledge of Diagnostic Radiology /CT procedures performed in the Radiology Department.
• Possesses basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology required to apply principles of radiology and methods of exposure to obtain Diagnostic quality images.
• Possesses basic knowledge of radiology/CT equipment functioning to provide for minor repair and trouble-shooting for problems.
• Proficient in the utilization of all radiological/lab equipment of the ER.
• Utilizes appropriate body mechanics in moving/lifting patients and equipment to prevent injury to patients and to self.

The Radiology Technologist/CT will operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the ER Physician in accordance with the Radiologist accepted protocol. Technologist will also practice radiation safety techniques with the ALARA principle in mind, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills, and knowledge of applicable exposure factors, to maximize radiation protection to patient and staff.

Position Summary:

Radiology Technologist is responsible for maintaining local, State, Federal, and accrediting bodies’ regulations and compliance of the facility's Radiology Department. All Radiology Technologists working at the facility will be under the direct supervision of the Lead Radiology Technologist. Each Lead Radiology Technologist will have the additional responsibilities in addition to their daily Radiology Technologist duties to include assisting with hiring, training, orienting, coaching, counseling, evaluating, and scheduling of other Radiology Technologists.

Each Radiology Technologist will operate CAT SCAN equipment to produce Computed Tomography (CT scans) of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Physician in accordance with the Radiologist protocol. The Radiology technologist will be responsible for administering and consenting for contrast both IV and oral, while being aware of all possible reactions and side effects. The Collections Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate claims filing, review, and resolution of denied insurance claims.   The Collections Specialist will review all billing information such as provider medical records, billed claims, insurance carrier explanation of benefits, insurance carrier denial letters, and electronic remits to ensure that payments and denials are worked promptly and appeals for the denied claims are submitted appropriately.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily monitoring of open claims receivable’s volume, appeal filing deadlines (reconsiderations, appeals, negotiations, IDR and TDI), open collection efforts to ensure all identified and standardized workflows and processes are followed.

The Associate Director of Revenue Cycle – Billing and Coding is responsible for the oversight and management of all aspects of coding and front-end billing workflows and processes. The Associate Director will define strategy, policy, production, quality assurance, best practice and play a critical role in ensuring a positive patient experience by collaborating with all internal departments, streamlining registration and patient collection processes, and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and increase revenue from patient collections. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and efficient medical claims billing with monitoring of medical coding, clearing house and front-end billing workflows and processes.
• Strategic planning: Develop and implement strategic plans, objectives, and initiatives for revenue cycle collections to align with the organization’s goals and objectives.

The Technologist will also be responsible for filling out appropriate paperwork and ensuring proper documentation in patients' chart. Our Primary goal is to ensure patient safety and satisfaction, while acquiring an acceptable exam of diagnostic quality.

Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist will operate radiographic equipment to produce radiographs of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the ER Physician in accordance with the Radiologist accepted protocol. The technologist will also be proficient in the positioning of the patient and examining table to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician. Technologist will also practice radiation safety techniques with the ALARA principle in mind, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding skills, and knowledge of applicable exposure factors, to maximize radiation protection to patient and staff.

Each technologist will operate CT SCAN equipment to produce Computed Tomography (CT scans) of the body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the ER Physician in accordance with the Radiologist protocol. Technologist will be responsible for administering and consenting for contrast both IV and oral, while being aware of all possible reactions and side effects. The Technologist will also be responsible for filling out appropriate paperwork and ensuring proper documentation in patients' chart. Our Primary goal is to ensure patient safety and satisfaction, while acquiring an acceptable exam of diagnostic quality.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Nursing is accountable for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient care for specific patient care unit(s) on a 24-hour basis. This includes oversight for clinical operations and human resources, financial, and quality management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
RECOMMENDED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
